Thank you for visiting my new site. The purpose of this site is to share resources and information on literacy, more specifically in the field of foreign language learning. This site will help the reader to connect with bloggers both in and outside the field of foreign language learning. On the right side I have provided a list of such sites. Since literacy is crucial to language learning, there is a constant need for such resources.
I plan to focus on literacy in my classroom. Because it is a language learning class, literacy is very important. I plan to implement many strategies in my lessons that cater to different types of learners and approach the multiple intelligences, in order to help all of my students to succeed in becoming language learners and world citizens.
As part of this effort, I have created this blog to allow students, parents, and teachers to access a wealth of literacy strategies and contribute to the growing effort to promote literacy everywhere. This blog may serve as a means to share information and ideas, as well as a place for students to comment on things we are doing in the classroom.
